Why Hijab is Necessary?

Hijab (Muslim veil) is dress code for women in islam. Muslim women are supposed to cover all parts of their body in such a way that one’s figures or curves should not be shown.

Islam is a religion of nature, protection, safety and peace. It can never allow someone to exceed the limits of Allah. Commandment of Hijab in islam gives more protection and safety to women. They feel themselves more confident while living in society and dealing with men. Hijab is a symbol of Muslim lady which let the people especially non-believers be aware about her commitment so they refrain any kind of misuse expected from them.

Non-believers laugh at our sisters and express some baseless objections on Muslim veil. It is said that hijab seeks to imprison women but we say that if Hijab is to imprison then living in home is more near to prison so they should refrain from staying at home too. This shows this myth is totally baseless.

Someone may also say that Hijab subordinates women but, In fact, culture, which promotes nakedness, takes people nearer to the culture of animals. Wearing the Hijab, on the contrary, liberates women from the trap of Western fashion and maladies. It gives them greater, rather than less freedom and mobility.

It is also propagated that why this discrimination is shown only for women. Science has proved that visual stimulation plays a predominant role in the physiology of men compared to women. The fact that the sex-industry in the West is targeted towards the male-market confirms it.

You might have seen someone saying that beauty is meant to be appreciated, Yes, of course, but only by her husband. Hence, women who truly loves her husband will never like to show her beauty for anyone else.

There are lot verses regarding hijab which you can get from this link but let me mention one verse here which tells the whole story of Muslim veil.

“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59)

This verse commands all Muslim sisters to draw their Hijab as it is more better for them to keep them recognized and not to be annoyed by anti-social elements.

At the end, it is requested to all Muslim sisters to maintain their dignity without paying attention at laughter’s of non-believers.
